In accordance with Texas Senate Bill 13, our district is committed to providing a transparent process for the acquisition of new library materials. This page serves as a public notice for all pending and recently approved book purchases across our campuses.

How the Process Works

Before books are added to our permanent collections, the proposed lists are posted here for a minimum of 30 days for public review. This policy also applies to donated books. These selections are carefully vetted by our professional library staff to ensure they align with our district's educational standards and collection development policies.

How to Review the Lists

The public may review the lists by clicking the title links below to access a downloadable PDF version, or they may request a printed copy of any list at any campus library.
