Monte Alto ISD continues to take proactive steps to strengthen campus safety. We are pleased to share that our new metal detectors are currently being assembled and will soon be ready for use across our campuses.
This added layer of security is part of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for all students, staff, and visitors. Once operational, these detectors will help support our safety protocols and ensure a more secure entry process.
We appreciate the continued support of our community as we work together to keep Monte Alto ISD a safe place to learn and grow.
A big thank you to our Technology Team for assembling our detectors and ensuring they working properly.

🎨 Teacher SEL Painting Activity 💙
Monte Alto ISD teachers recently participated in a relaxing and meaningful SEL painting activity, where we explored creative techniques that remind us of the importance of taking care of our mental health. Through art, reflection, and conversation, our staff had the opportunity to slow down, relax, and focus on their well-being as we prepare for Spring Break.
A special thank you to our amazing RGDA Counselor, Geneva Gomez, for leading this wonderful session and bringing our teachers together for such a positive experience.
We would also like to thank Mrs. Destany Regino and the SSI Grant for ensuring that our teachers are supported and cared for. When we take care of our educators, we strengthen our entire school community. 💙
