Monte Alto ISD Superintendent, Mr. Rana, kicked off the new semester by warmly welcoming our staff back with breakfast and a message of appreciation. He took time to highlight all the great things we accomplished during the first semester, reminding us that every success was the result of teamwork, dedication, and a shared commitment to our students.
As we move forward, we are focused on continuing to grow, strengthening collaboration, and setting new goals that will help us finish the year strong.

Today, our district TIA Committee came together to discuss the upcoming Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) expansion application for the 2026–2027 school year. We are excited to continue the work that supports and rewards our outstanding educators.
The Teacher Incentive Allotment is a statewide program designed to recognize highly effective teachers and provide them with additional compensation based on their performance, impact on student growth, and overall effectiveness in the classroom. These funds go directly back to teachers, helping districts recruit, support, and retain exceptional educators.

Great things are happening with the Superintendent's Student Advisory Committee! Today, the committee dedicated time to collaborate and build upon their innovative project ideas. They also took the lead in discussing important campus issues, gathering feedback from their peers to ensure student voices are heard across Monte Alto ISD. Today, Monte Alto ISD had the opportunity to meet with Region One Education Service Center and Texas Southmost College to discuss expanding our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, and our Early College High School for our students. Together, we’re exploring new initiatives to provide students with additional career opportunities and dual enrollment options.
