We are proud to announce that Jose Borrego Preparatory Academy is gearing up to compete in the Capitol Hill Challenge, where our students will participate in The Stock Market Game!
📅 The competition officially begins on January 26, 2026, and will run through May 1, 2026. Each student team will manage a simulated $100,000 portfolio (Stock Market Game money), making real-world investment decisions while learning the fundamentals of finance, investing, and the value of money.
Schools from across the nation will be competing for the incredible opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., where winning teams will meet with congressional leaders and experience government and economics firsthand.
We are excited to see our students grow as financially literate, critical-thinking leaders as they rise to this challenge!

Our 6th graders from Jose Borrego Preparatory Academy had an amazing educational field trip to the East Foundation Ranch! Students experienced hands-on learning perfectly aligned with our Science TEKS, diving into topics such as ecosystems, wildlife, conservation, and the natural resources that shape our environment.
