Our students not only learned about the science behind plant growth, but they also had the opportunity to plant their own wildflowers in individual pots to take home and nurture. There’s something special about getting your hands in the soil and watching learning come to life.

What a great way to close out the season for our JBPA Boys Basketball teams!
👏 7th Grade Boys came out strong with a 31–12 victory, finishing the season with an outstanding 6–1 record. Great teamwork, effort, and growth all season long!
💪 8th Grade Boys battled hard in a tough matchup, falling 28–36. They showed heart and determination all year, finishing the season 2–8 and never backing down from a challenge.

📅 The competition officially begins on January 26, 2026, and will run through May 1, 2026. Each student team will manage a simulated $100,000 portfolio (Stock Market Game money), making real-world investment decisions while learning the fundamentals of finance, investing, and the value of money.
Schools from across the nation will be competing for the incredible opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., where winning teams will meet with congressional leaders and experience government and economics firsthand.

This incredible opportunity will allow us to launch a hands-on rocketry program that deepens our students’ understanding of physics, aeronautics, and real-world STEM applications. Our 8th graders will now get to experience the excitement of designing, building, and launching rockets as they explore the science behind flight.
