Monte Alto ISD

Mr. Rashad Rana, former assistant superintendent at Donna ISD brings to the district an innovative vison that will lead Monte Alto ISD into a new era of excellence. Mr. Rana has spearheaded the development of specialized campuses - which include STEAM programs, T-STEM Academies, early college high schools and fine arts pathways - to ensure students have access to innovative and tailored educational opportunities. He also created Emergent Bilingual Academies and expanded CTE programs to middle school students. Beyond Academics, Mr. Rana has secured more and $5.8 million in grant funding for district initiatives, such as technology, mental health awareness and college and career readiness programs.
